AGM - Committee Nominations

Reminder

Nomination forms for next seasons committee must be submitted by next Thursday, 16-May.

A number of our current long standing committee members will be stepping down from their roles this season, including our Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Junior Football Director.

Committee positions are open to all club members and long standing supporters, you do not have to be a player, coach, ex. Committee member to apply for these positions, nor do you require any coaching badges.

All that is required is for two club members to nominate and second your application form.

So if you feel you can help drive our club forward please lodge your form before the deadline.

If you interested in getting involved but are unsure what role may suit you best, please make contact with any of the current committee members who will be more then happy to talk to you.

Alternatively, below is a general overview of what we hope each role will consist of in the 2019/20 season. Note that when necessary sub-committees can be setup to help share the workload in each role, ie. Fundraising sub-committees for each event

To provide leadership & management in the club

To chair the Executive committee meeting and AGM

To assist the Honorary Secretary in producing agendas for meetings

To plan ahead for the club

To delegate tasks to sub-committees and members

To fully understand the mission and goals of the club and be committed to them
