LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!

Our over 35's put in a very good performance to beat Title Holders Patricians 5-1 on Friday evening to secure the league title.

A superb hat trick from Jay Keating settled the game. Gareth Murphy scored his 22nd goal of the season to just about secure Top Goal Scorer and the reincarnated Damian Kearney bundled in from 1 yard in the final few minutes to make it 5-1. The performance was more than impressive considering Jessie Cotter was sent off just before half time when he "tangled" with an opposition player.

The celebrations continued back at the club house where a few light beers were consumed!

Thanks to the management team of Davey "the cruise" Poole and the legend that is Bobby Brown and all the players who contributed throughout the last 10 months. The hard work has paid off. WELL DONE LADS! #cmontheparish
